The 10th CE Chola Heritage Temple Located at the peak of Perumukkal hill with a vast area covered by fortress. Mukthialeeswarar temple was built by Kulothunga I and covered in to stone structure during the Vikrama Chola period. Seetha cave Inscription in Tamil Vatteluthu form and belongs to 6-7th Century A.D.
